The Mysore Method: Ashtanga Workshop
Building a yoga practice one posture at a time.
This workshop will explore the traditional method in which Ashtanga yoga is taught with a short discussion on the history of Ashtanga yoga, the impact of bandhas in practice; techniques to help transition from posture to posture (“floating”) in the 1st series of Ashtanga yoga, also known as Primary series. All levels welcome.

About Dan Foster
Dan Foster is a 200, 300, and 500 hour, RYT trained teacher by Hilaire Lockwood of Hilltop Yoga in Lansing, Michigan. In addition he has completed further training with Authorized Ashtanga teachers Kino MacGregor, Maty Ezraty, Day Christensen, Taylor Hunt, and Tim Feldman. Dan also apprenticed with Level II Authorized teacher David Robson, July 2016 at Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto, one of the largest Mysore/Ashtanga program in world.
Dan believes the Ashtanga yoga system is a tremendous tool in helping students heal and strengthen their physical bodies, cultivate a focused, yet calm mind; lastly deepen their spirituality and connection with themselves and others. Dan is forever grateful for the inspiration that his teachers and students give him and hopes to inspire others in a similar fashion with the amazing practice of Ashtanga yoga.
